Jane Jennings DC CHIROPRACTOR
Jane spent four years training at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth. She graduated in 2003 with a Master’s degree in Chiropractic and a year later gained a DC (Doctor of Chiropractic). She is a member of the British Chiropractic Association and is registered with the General Chiropractic Council.
Jane took over Newbury Chiropractic Centre in March 2004. As well as treating many common conditions including low back pain, she is interested in preventative health care, offering advice on rehabilitation after injury, and giving practical tips to help prevent pain from returning. Jane also offers acupuncture as part of her treatment regime for certain patients.
Chiropractic care is suitable for a wide range of conditions and Jane is particularly interested in the treatment of headaches and neck pain. Jane is registered with all major healthcare insurers including BUPA.
In her spare time Jane enjoys sailing and walking in the Berkshire countryside.
Charlotte Barrow DC CHIROPRACTOR
Charlotte graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2002 with a BSc Hons in Chiropractic, and then went on to gain a DC (Doctor of Chiropractic) in 2003. She has been at Newbury Chiropractic Centre since 2009. Charlotte is registered with the General Chiropractic Council and is a member of the British Chiropractic Association. Charlotte is registered with BUPA and PPP.
Charlotte’s expertise is in the diagnosis and management of spinal pain. She is also keen to encourage patients to actively maintain their improvements gained by chiropractic care with regular check ups.
To ensure the very best patient care, Charlotte regularly attends professional development seminars. As a result Charlotte has an extensive and up to date knowledge of the latest chiropractic techniques.
Charlotte enjoys keeping active outside clinical practice. She attends Pilates and enjoys running.
Nicole Edwards DC Chiropractor
Nicole graduated from the University of Johannesburg in 2014 with a Master’s degree in Chiropractic. She is a member of the British Chiropractic Association and is registered with the General Chiropractic Council.
Nicole was inspired to become a chiropractor after witnessing the benefits of chiropractic care. Her sister injured her neck during swimming and within two weeks of starting a chiropractic treatment plan she was back in the pool competing.
She recently came to the UK after practicing in Johannesburg, South Africa and Melbourne, Australia. During her time in practice she has furthered her interest in health and wellbeing. She uses a variety of chiropractic techniques including manipulation, activator method, mobilisation, dry needling and soft tissue techniques to enable patients to reach their personal health goals and to keep doing what they love to do.
Nicole enjoys travelling and has visited countries in the East Thailand, Bali and Malaysia. She has also been to America, Australia and South Africa. She is looking forward to seeing more of Europe now that she has moved closer-having had a taster in France. She also enjoys going for walks, being outdoors, as well as spending time with family and friends.
Charlie Barker Chiropractor
Charlie graduated from the University of South Wales with a First Class Masters Degree in Chiropractic.
Charlie is a member of the British Chiropractic Association and is registered with the General Chiropractic Council.
Charlie has a keen interest in fitness and sports and whilst studying at University she worked as a personal trainer in a local gym. This work only emphasized her desire for helping others.
Charlie thrives on helping individuals reach their peak potential, whether that be high-level athletic ability or simply pain free movements of daily living. She uses a variety of techniques including manipulation, mobilization, activator and trigger point therapy. Charlie strives to continually develop these skills by attending additional courses.
Charlie is a keen runner and road cyclist and is currently training for her first triathlon. She also loves to travel and spend time with friends and family.
Chloe Hargreaves Sports Massage Therapist
Chloe joined the Sports Massage Team in March 2019. She holds a Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage and is currently undertaking her Level 5 Diploma in Soft Tissue Therapy and Remedial Massage.
Chloe is an active sportswoman and has competed on the International Gymnastics circuit in both Individual and Group Routine Gymnastics. During her competitive career Chloe also gained her Level 1 qualification in Aerobic Gymnastics.
Since retiring from competitive gymnastics, Chloe has found a new love of Olympic Weightlifting and is hoping to soon return to the elite international sporting circuit in this new athletic discipline.
With many years of competition at the elite level under her belt, Chloe well understands the importance of rehabilitation and maintenance of the body to perform at your very best.
Mary Chan Acupuncturist
Mary was awarded her Licentiate in Acupuncture qualification from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in 2016, when she received a BSc Hons in Acupuncture from Kingston University in the same year. She then completed a 2-year Five Element Graduate Programme with Ongiara College of Acupuncture & Moxibustion (Canada) in 2018. Mary is a member of the Acupuncture Society in the UK, has full insurance and a strict professional, ethical and medical code. She is dedicated to the delivery of the best patient care.
Mary has always had a compassion for holistic health. Mary is passionate about helping others to restore balance and to live in harmony with nature through treatments and self-care advice. As a Classical Chinese Medicine practitioner, Mary believes that inner-cultivation is essential in developing her healing capacity. To that end, Mary practises Tao training, Qigong and meditation. Since qualifying Mary has continued her professional development by attending seminars regularly with her mentors and renowned teachers from around the World.
Mary loves nature and enjoys going for walks and travelling. She is fond of 'Yang Sheng', a Chinese Taoist philosophical concept of self-care by nurturing and nourishing life to optimise her vitality and to live fully to her authentic self.
