Who are we?

Jane Jennings DC

Jane spent four years training at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth. She graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) and a Master's degree in Chiropractic and a year later gained a DC (Doctor of Chiropractic). She is a member of the British Chiropractic Association and is registered with the General Chiropractic Association.

Jane took over Newbury Chiropractic Centre in March 2004. As well as treating many common conditions including low back pain, she is interested in preventative health care, offering advice on rehabilitation after injury, and giving practical tips to help prevent pain from returning. Jane also offers acupuncture as part of her treatment regime for certain patients.

Chiropractic care is suitable for a wide range of conditions and Jane is particularly interested in the treatment of headaches. Jane is registered with all major healthcare insurers including BUPA.

Jane is married with two young children, and when she is not working, and parental duties allow, enjoys sailing and walking.


Charlotte Barrow DC

Dr Charlotte Barrow DCCharlotte graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2002 after four years of full time study with a BSc Hons in Chiropractic, and then went on to gain a DC (Doctor of Chiropractic) in 2003.  She has worked in Essex for the past six years, gaining a wealth of experience before her move to Newbury. Charlotte is registered with the General Chiropractic Council and is a member of the British Chiropractic Association. Charlotte is registered with BUPA and PPP.

Charlotte's expertise is in the diagnosis and management of spinal pain. She is also keen to encourage patients to actively maintain their improvements gained by Chiropractic care with regular check ups.

Charlotte’s experience has shown her that Chiropractic can be used to treat all age groups effectively. She has an interest in starting care from an early age with babies and children and helping to manage spinal conditions associated with pregnancy. 

To ensure the very best patient care, Charlotte regularly attends professional development seminars. As a result Charlotte has an extensive and up to date knowledge of the latest chiropractic techniques.
 
Charlotte enjoys keeping active outside clinical practice. She attends Pilates and is currently training for her second half marathon.

 
Sharon Pierce

Sharon Pierce graduated from the University of Salford in 2001 with a degree in Sports Rehabilitation, and has been working in private practice since then as a Sports Injury Therapist and Sports Masseuse.

Sharon specialises in the rehabilitation of injuries through exercise prescription and postural education. In addition Sharon uses a range of therapy techniques including massage, ultrasound, and interferential to treat a variety of sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.

Sharon has worked in association  with UK Athletics and the IAFF. Sharon is currently on maternity leave.

 
Charlotte Freeman

Charlie graduated in 2002 from St Mary’s University College, Twickenham with a degree in Sports Rehabilitation.  She is a member of the British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers (BASRaT), the United Kingdom’s professional body for Graduate Sports Rehabilitators.

Charlie has worked for 6 years at a physiotherapy clinic in Hampshire which specialises in the treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injury.  She also currently works part time for UK Athletics providing track side medical cover for both national and international events

As a Graduate Sport Rehabilitator (GSR), Charlie works closely with the chiropractors at the clinic particularly in the fields of injury management and exercise based rehabilitation and fitness.

Charlie has a great passion for horses and has also gained her diploma in Equine Sports Therapy, working with race horses, polo ponies and show jumpers.  She  competes regularly with her own horse and also enjoys running and swimming.
